Our first book giveaway

Time to load up

Hi everybody. So one of the things about hosting a podcast is that publishers often send me books to review in advance of a pod. Of course, not every book makes it on the pod for a number of reasons (schedule, fit, etc.) but one of the small benefits is that I end up with a lot of books. Now, I tend to keep these, mostly because seeing them on the shelf brings back fond memories of conversations and I’m proud of these folks who have become my friends. However, sometimes publishers send me multiple copies of the same book, leaving me with a quandry—what to do with all these intellectual trophies?

The answer is obvious- let me give them back to you in gratitude for your continued support of my writing, the pod, and other content. So I’m happy to announce the first ever HATM book giveaway. And while I want to thank all of you for being part of this community, I only have so many books to give away (for now).

So here’s what we’ll do. For this first giveaway, we’ll limit it to paid Substack subscribers only. I’m really thankful for all y’all but I figure folks who have chipped in so get at least a little something.

The books are on a first come, first serve basis. I’ll list the books below and the first person to comment that they want a particular book will get it. This way you can also see what is available if you read this list before I do. There is no need to worry about shipping. I will take care of that—it’s the least I can do for your support. And in addition, I’ll also throw in some HATM stickers with the book.
