It turns out that I am not actually Glen Powell
It turns out that everyone liked Twisters this summer. It’s earned over $350 million globally since it’s July 19 release making for a nice profit off its $155 million budget.
You know who isn’t profiting: Jason Herbert.
And for that I blame Glen Powell. Powell is emerging as (finally!) the next box office star after a string of recent smart choices starting with Top Gun: Maverick and including Anyone but You, Hit Man, and now Twisters. Plus, the dude has more hits coming, with remakes of The Running Man and Backdraft coming, plus a Top Gun sequel.
