Hi everyone and congratulations on making it through another Monday. I hope you’re well where you are. Here in Colorado, we are barreling our way towards Thursday’s lauch of Historians At The Movies Season 3. If you’ve been paying attention, you know that we’ve been on break to give us all a chance to catch our breaths before diving back in and working to make HATM what we think it could be. But that doesn’t mean we’ve been slacking. In fact, we have our hype trailer for Season 3 right below.
By now you know we have a secret special guest coming on Thursday. But we’ve also been recording like crazy the last few months so I thought it might be cool to share a bit of the roster of scholars coming on soon. Some of these folks you know from before, others are brand new to the pod. But all are amazing and if you click on their names, it’ll take you to their pages so you can learn more. Without further ado:
And folks, this is just a taste of what’s to come. I’ve got a few things up my sleeve. Oh and by the way, if you want early access to these pods, you can visit www.patreon.com/historiansatthemovies.
But stay tuned for Thursday. I’m so excited that it’s only two days away.
HATM Watch Party
You have heard recently of attempts to silence stories of World War II heroes such as the Tuskegee Airmen and the Women Airforce Service Pilots. Well, here at HATM we’ve always tried to show a diverse set of stories and people that make up the human experience and in doing so hopefully let folks know they are always welcome around here. So I suppose no film could be more perfect this Sunday than one featuring World War II’s only Women’s Army Corps unit of color. So join us on Netflix this Sunday February 2nd at 8pm eastern for THE SIX TRIPLE EIGHT. Trailer below.
Alright, that’s enough for tonight. Thanks for being part of HATM.
