Hi everybody and happy Friday!
Today is a quick bit of news for you. Sometime during the night, Historians At The Movies Podcast crossed over 100,000 downloads.
Now, we’re not challenging Joe Rogan (yet), but this feels like a monumental number. Our little Podcast That Could continues to draw a larger and larger audience and I have only you to thank for that. It’s because of you guys who continue to listen and share this podcast and what we’re trying to do with everyone that we continue to build HATM.
So what’s next? Right now we are a break for the next couple weeks (though we are releasing archived episodes for our new listeners). We have already recorded a lot of episodes for our next season. And I can’t tell you just yet who is going to be leading off next season at the end of the month, but I will tell you that he has directed several of the films we have talked about on the podcast. And he has an Oscar.
So get ready, because our podcast—and the Historians At The Movies community—is about to go supernova.
and if you haven’t had the chance to subscribe to the podcast, we’re listening to the over 100 episodes we’ve done so far here are some links below. I hope you like them.

This podcast is for the moment entirely user supported so if you’d like to help (but you absolutely don’t have to), you can do so by visiting here: www.patreon.com/historiansatthemovies
I’ve said for the longest time that Historians At The Movies belongs to all of us, and I mean it. So I hope that you are celebrating a little bit today too.
Your friend,
Jason
